The Bank PO examination is an entrance exam conducted by the Indian Banks Association (IBA) for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (POs) in various participating banks in India. The examination is held every year and thousands of candidates appear for it with the hope of getting selected for the post of PO.

The selection process for the PO examination consists of three stages – Preliminary Examination, Main Examination and Interview. The Preliminary Examination is qualifying in nature and candidates who clear it are eligible to appear for the Main Examination. The eligibility criteria for the Bank PO Exam are as follows:

-Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

-Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 30 years.

Bank PO Syllabus

There are a few subjects that are common to all banking exams and these form the basics of the Bank PO Syllabus. They are:

There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. The candidates need to score a minimum of 40% marks in each section to qualify for the examination.

TheQuantitative Aptitude section will assess the candidate’s mathematical skills and their ability to solve numerical problems.
